Born out of a need
Dog behavioural problems are on the rise - research puts dog aggression, separation anxiety and over-excitement as the top three. Too often, we are experiencing over-excited dogs barrelling into dog parks, barging into other dogs' personal space, and fights breaking out because the education and correct information on how dogs should socialise is hard to find. Unfortunately, dog parks have become very challenging for the community.
Our private dog daycare was born out of a need for dogs to learn how to socialise correctly, and in a safe place. Every day with us is run from a behaviourist's perspective, with a focus on structure, good manners and social skills - that's why our clients affectionately call it "Doggy School". We are passionate about helping dogs learn great skills.

During our day care your dog will drain both physical and mental energy, learning how to behave around other dogs and humans in a safe, secure environment - without the stress of an uncontrolled day care, dog park, or being picked on by other dogs.
PACK WALKS
Adult dogs join the daily pack walk - rain, hail or shine. Walking calmly as part of a pack is one of the most powerful social skills a dog can learn.
POOL TIME
A swim in our full size pool helps burn energy and build confidence - part of draining mental and physical energy the right way.
SOCIALISATION
Supervised, structured sessions where dogs practise good manners around other dogs and people - not a free-for-all.
REST TIME
Learning to switch off around other
dogs is a skill too - even with toys,
food around, delivery people, the mail

Joining the elite pack
Our private daycare is reserved for SOS Dogs clients, or families who have booked a behaviour or daycare consultation, so every dog is known to us before joining the pack.
By understanding each dog and family first, we can keep the group safe, settled and genuinely social - unlike regular daycares that accept any dog on any day.

In the wrong environment, plenty. Uncontrolled play can overwhelm dogs, reward over-excitement, and leave quieter dogs getting picked on. Our day care is built to avoid exactly that: it is private, run from a behaviourist's perspective, and every dog has been through a consultation first - with structure, supervision and proper rest built into every day. This is what sets every new dog that joins us up for success, they have great friends all ready to welcome them.

A level of behaviour is required to join, and the consultation is how we get there. It means every dog in the group is known to us, set up to succeed, and safe around the others. It is the difference between a structured doggy day care and a room full of strangers.

A structured mix of pack walks, off lead time at the park (just with our day care dogs), pool time, supervised play and socialisation, and proper rest. Your dog drains physical and mental energy, practises manners, and comes home happy, tired and fulfilled.

Our private dog daycare is $70 per day with discounts for multiple days. We run Tuesday to Thursday from 7am to 6pm, and Fridays from 8am to 5pm.
